The money and the time which combines for a complete freedom to do whatever i feel like doing. When you are succesful poker player the sky is the limit and you can take up as many hobbies as you like. My latest passion is surfing and i never
would have been able to afford the vacation so easily, were it not for poker.
What is the worst thing about being a professional poker player?
The lack of respect that a lot of people have towards poker as a profession. Many people don't understand the amount of work and talent it takes to be a succesful player, to them i say 'well then why dont you try it?'

Will you ever quit playing poker?
I don't see myself ever quitting poker. Even if i were to take up another profession I would still most definitely play at least 4 Major tournaments a year

When did you start playing poker online?
I started playing live cashgames and sit n gos in the norwegian military in august 2004.
The first time i played was in a No-Limit Texas Holdem 8 man live sit n go.
How much was your first deposit?
25 dollar into pacific poker. I ran like a god, within 3 days I won 2.5k in a touranment.
A few months after that i quallifed for the wsop main event thourhg a $139 dollars sattelite.
But after cashing out reality hit my right in the face and I busted after "grinding" there for 6-7 months :)
But without some hits in the face u will never get better.
How much money did you lose before you started to win?
Ive allways been carefull with money. Ive allways tried just too play with winnings, so if i managed to double my deposit I wouled cashout what I put in and then play for what I saw as "free money".
Since i ran hot on my first deposit you could say i never lost a penny before i started winning.

Yes. I have a bachelor degree in Physical Education and woudln't mind beeing a PE Teacher sometime in the furture.
